Turner Horton received Best Original Score for his soundtrack for the 48 Hour Competition short film, Baby Noir. He has also won college scholarships for original songs Grace (Friends of Johnny Mercer 2002) & Keep A-Goin (2015 ISC Semi-Finalist) and has collaborated with multi-genre songwriters & artists. Studying music composition in college, he was asked to write music for a SCAD graduate student’s comedy film trailer Arab in America (2007). 

His other music compositions include film scores by Savannah College of Art & Design’s winner for best picture and sound design Reflection (SCAD 2007), best horror score The Red Ball (SCAD 2008), film noir White Spider (2007) and zombie flick Quarantine (SCAD 2007). He has had song placements in the spunky reality show, Human Resources (2015). Some more of Turner’s recent credits include the soundtrack for the Christmastime immersive theater presentation of Dickens After Dark (2018) and his debut Trailer Music 2020 Album featuring vocalist Julie Seechuk (Warner Chapell Music, Colossal Trailer Music) and mixing/mastering by Joël Dollié. In 2021, he scored music for Loyal, Not Faithful, which was nominated for best actor and actress (Berlin Indie Film Festival) and best short film (California Women’s Film Festival). Up next for Horton is a second LP of original trailer music coming out in 2024. Turner is a member of the Society of Composers and Lyricists.
